Little Acorns

Finally, the difficult first blog entry. I plan to use this site to record some of the ups and downs of being a craft worker in the Scottish Highlands. I'll also be shamelessly plugging my quaichs and the beautiful countryside that I am lucky enough to live in.
Anyhoo must get back to the lathe as today I am finishing two wedding quaichs which are being taken out to India this week. So in the best "blue peter" tradition, here is one I made earlier. It's a 125 mm elm quaich with sterling silver and matching plinth.
